The human heart is one of the most important muscles in the body. There are many jobs that the heart does that makes life possible. The blood that is in your body gets pumped through your heart. Blood goes into and out of the heart using the major arteries. While the blood is in the heart, it gets oxygen. You cannot survive if you do not have oxygen in your blood. Your heart is just as important as your brain is when it comes to the body. It is impossible for people to survive if they do not have a heart, and this is why it is such an important muscle.
